Description
Our family farm is located in the village of Ferenci, near the town of Ozalj, in the Žumberak Nature Park, which is a protected Natura 2000 area. We cultivate fresh berries (strawberries, raspberries, and chokeberries) and stone fruit (apples, pears, plums) and process them into juices, syrups, and jams. The fruit processing is carried out in our own processing facility. On our family farm, we have an apiary with 50 bee colonies, and we are holders of the 'Honey of Croatian Apiaries' label. We offer meadow honey, acacia honey, and chestnut honey. The honey is bottled in a registered filling facility located on our farm.
In 2019, we started a new project on our farm, expanding our activities into tourism. We began renovating an old stone house that will contain two apartments and a wooden house. Our OPG is home to dwarf goats, llamas, sheep, and rabbits.
