Description
Our story with chickens began in 2017 when we first registered a small free-range farm for laying hens and acquired our first flock of 300 chickens. The satisfaction of our customers and the growing demand required an increase in production capacity, so in 2022, we embarked on a major investment with the help of EU funds. Today, our farm has 5,000 laying hens, and we are very proud of it.
The farm was built to meet the highest EU standards, including a logistics and packaging center, a cold storage facility, silos, and a feed mixing plant.
We still feed our chickens with feed produced on our own fields. We strive to maintain the same quality to satisfy our current and future customers.
Free-range, as the name suggests, means that the laying hens are not kept in cages but can move freely inside the poultry house and outside. They have open access in and out of the farm.
During the day, the chickens stay outdoors, moving freely, scratching, eating plants or whatever they find while foraging, resting in the shade, and running around.
Due to this way of life and diet, such eggs are also called 'eggs from happy chickens.'
