Teran Barbarossa is produced exclusively from TERAN grape variety from the Motovun vineyards, aged for 18 months in wooden oak barrels. It is characterized by a ruby-red color that takes on a violet hue when swirled in the glass. The aroma is delicate, pronounced, and distinctive. It has a typical fruity character dominated by ripe raspberry. It has a relatively high total acid content and a certain presence of astringency, which, combined with the high extract, gives this wine a characteristic full, strong, robust, yet pleasantly balanced flavor. Thanks to its eclectic fullness, consistency, and large amounts of polyphenols, it is considered to have medicinal properties.
Teran Barbarossa is, due to its characteristics, an ideal wine partner for cured meats, cheeses, meat dishes, game, and fish prepared with spicy sauces. Its qualities are best expressed when consumed at a temperature of around 16 °C.

Teran Barbarossa proizvodi se isključivo od grožđa SORTE teran iz Motovunskog vinogorja, odležao 18 mjeseci u drvenim hrastovim bačvama. Karakterizira ga rubin-crvena boja koja kada se zavrti u čaši ima ljubičastu nijansu. Aroma je fina, naglašena i prepoznatljiva. Tipičnog je voćnog karaktera u kojem dominira zrela malina. Ima relativno visok udio ukupnih kiselina i određenu prisutnost trpkosti, koja uklopljena u visoki ekstrakt daje ovom vinu karakterističan okus punog, jakog, robusnog, ali ujedno i ugodno kupažnog vina. Zahvaljujući svojoj eklektičnoj punoći, konzistenciji i velikim količinama polifenola, smatra se da ima i ljekovita svojstva.
Teran Barbarossa je zbog svojih karakteristika idealan vinski partner suhomesnatim proizvodima, sirevima, te jelima od mesa i divljači, kao i ribi pripremljenoj s pikantnim umacima. Njegova svojstva najbolje dolaze do izražaja ako se konzumira na temperaturi od oko 16 °C.
