Mushroom mycelium is a loose, cobweb-like substance of white colour. It is characterised by an extremely high active surface area, which stems from the fact that there are 40 kilometres of hyphae in one cubic centimetre. To be used in mushroom production, it is most commonly grown on a solid carrier. Each batch of mycelium is tested in laboratory and cultivation trials to ensure the high quality of all our products.
