Aloe vera is a versatile plant that has enriched many cultures in the fields of health and cosmetic care. Physicians even before Hippocrates valued the plant's power for survival in the desert, and Cleopatra also used it to enhance beauty. But aloe vera is not just for external use: Aloe vera 'Sweet' is the only edible variety of aloe vera in the world and can be eaten whole, including the skin.
For internal use, the oldest and therefore largest aloe vera leaf is separated at the base and a 1 cm piece is eaten daily with the skin. For external use, separate a leaf of Aloe vera 'Sweet' from the plant and rub it on the desired parts of the body. The separated leaf can be stored in the refrigerator for several days. Tip: You can also cut just 3 to 4 cm from the top of the leaf and leave the rest of the aloe vera, as the wound on the plant closes within a few days.
Aloe vera prefers a warm location. After 3 to 4 years, it forms an orange-red flower, requires little water, and must not be permanently in water.

Za vanjsku uporabu odvoji se list Aloe vera 'Sweet' od biljke i njime se utrljaju željeni dijelovi tijela. Odvojeni list se može čuvati u hladnjaku nekoliko dana. Savjet: Također možete izrezati samo 3 do 4 cm od vrha lista i ostaviti ostatak aloe vere, jer se rana na biljci zatvara za nekoliko dana.
Aloe vera preferira toplo mjesto. Nakon 3 do 4 godine, formira narančastocrveni cvijet, treba malo vode i ne smije trajno biti u vodi.
