Versatile white magic, suitable for baking, frying and stewing, but also widely known as grandma's natural remedy against persistent cough.
It is extremely rich in unsaturated fatty acids that help the human body control blood cholesterol. In this way, goose fat has a protective effect in preventing heart and circulatory diseases. Compared to duck fat, goose fat contains a slightly higher proportion of unsaturated fatty acids, making it even healthier than duck fat. In terms of positive effects on the human body, goose fat ranks alongside olive oil.
In folk medicine, it is used to treat bronchitis by consuming it melted in soup, tea or milk, or by applying it to the chest.
Storage conditions: At room temperature, melted goose fat is in a liquid state, so it is advisable to keep it in a cool place for easier handling.
