Ostrich egg is a very healthy food, rich in protein and with high nutritional value. It is especially recommended in the diet of children, athletes, and the sick.
The shell of an ostrich egg is approximately 2 mm thick, so a hammer or drill is used to break it. The easiest way is to make one or two holes (i.e., one on each side, as this allows the egg's contents to come out more easily due to air pressure) in the shell by gently tapping with a hammer at the intended spot. After that, turn the egg's contents toward the hole and pour them into a container. First, the egg white comes out, followed by the entire yolk, and finally the remaining egg white. Discounts available by agreement!
We also regularly test the eggs at the Croatian Veterinary Institute for Salmonella bacteria, and we have a certificate confirming a negative result.
An edible ostrich egg is approximately 23 cm x 20 cm in size and weighs up to 1.5 kg!
Nojevo jaje u ljusci
